Free and Pro

Applore Free vs Applore Pro

The check for known stalkerware and the safety steps are free, including threat-list updates, and the safety screens show no ads in either version. Applore Pro removes ads, lifts the App Lock and Vault Gallery limits, and adds the full analysis of each finding, an evidence report, Phone back check, Private Camera, Advance Lock and more.

What is the same in both

Applore Free and Applore Pro share the tools most people use every day.

  • Safety tools: the Suspicious App Checker with threat-list updates and Play Protect results if Play Protect is on, and each flagged app’s level and main reason; Safety Check, Talk to someone (support hotlines), Quick exit and the safe removal steps. No ads on the safety screens in either version.
  • Privacy: App Lock with PIN, pattern or fingerprint and Lock Groups (up to 3 locked apps in Applore Free), Vault Gallery (up to 20 items in Applore Free) and Password Vault with autofill and backup to your own Google Drive.
  • Files: File Explorer, Organised Files, Recent Files, media players and zip tools.
  • Storage and contacts: find duplicate files and duplicate contacts, open Android’s storage settings, and back up contacts as vCard.
  • App manager: uninstall several apps, back up app files, App Category and activity stats.
  • Mental Wellbeing: Focus Mode, Paused Apps, App usage limits and Super Focus Mode.
  • Device information: hardware details and Hardware Test.

What Pro adds

  • No ads anywhere in the app.
  • About this app. The full analysis of each flagged app: what it can see or do, where it came from, when it was installed, whether it is hidden, and every reason it was flagged. Pro runs the same check as Applore Free and does not find more apps. About the Suspicious App Checker.
  • Evidence report. In the steps before you remove a flagged app, create a report as a PDF and a data file on your phone, and share it only if you choose. Keeping a record.
  • Phone back check. Save a private snapshot of your apps and settings, then compare later to see what changed. About the snapshot check.
  • Unlimited App Lock. Lock as many apps as you want. Applore Free locks up to 3 apps. About App Lock.
  • Unlimited Vault Gallery, and Private Camera. Keep as many photos, videos and documents as you want in the private vault (Applore Free keeps up to 20 items), and take photos and videos that skip your gallery. About Vault Gallery.
  • Advance Lock. Extra lock options, such as Private Notifications, which holds notifications from locked apps until you unlock. About Advance Lock.
  • Focus Mode schedules for chosen days and times.
  • Large File Analyzer, which shows the folders that take the most space.
  • File Finder search by name, type, size and date.
  • Dark mode for the whole app.
  • No daily limits on removing duplicate files or merging duplicate contacts.

If you stay on Applore Free

The limits only stop you adding more. Nothing you already have is taken away.

  • App Lock: Applore Free locks up to 3 apps. Apps you already locked stay locked, even if that’s more than 3: Applore never unlocks them for you. Only locking a new app asks you to upgrade, and unlocking is always free.
  • Vault Gallery: Applore Free keeps up to 20 items. Everything already in the vault can always be opened and restored, also if a Pro subscription ends.
  • Advance Lock: turning a protection off never needs Pro.

Ads in Applore Free

Applore Free shows ads outside the safety screens. The Suspicious App Checker, Safety Check, Talk to someone and the safe removal steps never show ads. Elsewhere in Applore Free, screens can show banner ads, and some actions show a full-screen ad first.

Ads in Applore Free come from Google AdMob. Where the law requires it, Applore asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. The privacy policy explains what advertising uses. Applore Pro does not load the ads service at all.

Inside Applore Free, or a separate paid app

There are two ways to get Pro features. Both are on Google Play, for phones with Android 8.0 and up.

  • Applore Free (applore.device.manager), where you can buy Pro inside the app: Yearly or Monthly, a Google Play subscription you can cancel at any time in Google Play, or Lifetime, a single payment with no subscription. Each unlocks every Pro feature and removes ads.
  • Applore Pro (applore.device.manager.pro), a separate paid app, bought once, with no ads and every Pro feature included.

Prices are set by Google Play for each country, and Google Play shows the price in your currency before you pay. See pricing in the app on Google Play. Purchases, refunds and cancellations go through your Google Play account, as described in the terms and conditions.

The two apps store their data separately on your phone, and nothing carries over between them. If you move from Applore Free to Applore Pro, set up App Lock again in the new app, and restore any vault files before you uninstall the old one. For help choosing, see the download page.

Questions

Does Applore Free include the stalkerware check?

Yes. The Suspicious App Checker, the check for known stalkerware, known harmful apps and hidden monitoring apps, is free in Applore Free, including threat-list updates. Each flagged app shows its level and main reason, and the safety steps before you remove an app are free too, along with Safety Check, the support hotlines and Quick exit. The safety screens show no ads in either version. Applore Pro adds the full analysis of each finding and an evidence report; it runs the same check and does not find more apps. Like any check, it can miss things. How detection works.

What does Applore Pro add?

Applore Pro has no ads. It lets you lock as many apps as you want and keep as many items in Vault Gallery as you want; Applore Free locks up to 3 apps and keeps up to 20 Vault Gallery items. Pro adds About this app, the full analysis of each flagged app, the evidence report, Phone back check (a snapshot check), Private Camera, Advance Lock, Focus Mode schedules, the Large File Analyzer, File Finder search and dark mode. It also removes the daily limits on removing duplicate files and merging contacts.

Do the safety screens show ads in Applore Free?

No. Applore Free shows ads outside the safety screens. The Suspicious App Checker, Safety Check, the support hotlines and the safe removal steps show no ads in Applore Free or Applore Pro. Other screens in Applore Free can show banner ads, and some actions show a full-screen ad first.

How do I see the price of Applore Pro?

Open Applore Free and tap an upgrade button, or open the Applore Pro page on Google Play. Applore Free offers Yearly, Monthly and Lifetime, each with Google Play's price in your currency, so we do not list prices on this website. Purchases and cancellations go through your Google Play account.

What happens to my locked apps and vault files if I stay on Applore Free?

Nothing is taken away. Apps you already locked stay locked, even if that's more than 3: Applore never unlocks them for you. Only locking a new app asks you to upgrade, and unlocking an app is always free. Everything already in Vault Gallery can always be opened and restored, also if a Pro subscription ends.

Can I keep my vault if I move from Free to Pro?

Yes, if you upgrade inside Applore Free: you keep using the same app and the same vault, and the 20-item limit goes away. Applore Pro is a separate app on Google Play, and its data on your phone does not carry over from Applore Free, so restore any vault files to their original place before you switch, then move them into the vault in the app you keep.
